CO-EXECUTIVE PRODUCE A FILM: $150,000
	This program is an exclusive opportunity available to only one lucky company
	The Fifth Night’s veteran staff will select four of the best un-optioned scripts from our entire year of presented readings. Your company will then select the winning script from amongst the final four and will act, along with The Fifth Night, as co- executive producers of the film. One of the many benefits of teaming up with The Fifth Night in this venture is that we will keep a close eye on the filmmaker, being there to guide them, help negotiate deals, give them access to our plentiful resources during the casting process, and ultimately make sure they complete their desired film. Our discerning track record and perfectionist ideals should instill confidence in the final outcome, and what an exciting and promotable event this is—a potential media blitz! The finalists will be chosen based upon the following criteria: quality of writing, feasibility of adaptation to film, the screenwriter’s preparedness to shoot the script, and a projected budget comparable to shooting on digital video.
	The winning script will be announced at The Fifth Night’s annual Gala Benefit and awards ceremony

When you become a supporting member of The Fifth Night Screenplay Reading and Short Film Series, you create motion picture history. You are an integral and respected part of one of America’s most unique and respected cultural institutions. And you receive great premiums, as well.

Of our 213 and counting readings to date, 40 have been made into films, or are currently in production. If you’ve attended any one of these readings, you know the high standard of quality we unfailingly present each week. Through the Fifth Night hundreds of fruitful networking relationships amongst screenwriters, producers, actors, agents and financiers from the New York filmmaking community have been created. We also offer a way for screenwriters, isolated by the private journey that is the writing process, to create a community among themselves where they can share their unique experiences. Additionally, we have served as the inspiration and as a guide for like programs all over the world.
